Cazoo and the European Tour have announced a new deal which will see the online car buying platform become the Title Sponsor of two events on the tour’s UK Swing – the Wales Open and the English Open.
The multi-year partnership will see the Wales Open – set to be played at Celtic Manor Resort in Newport from 22nd to 25th July – renamed the Cazoo Open while the English Open will be replaced by the Cazoo Classic, which will this year be held at the London Golf Club from 12th to 15th August.
Cazoo will have exclusive naming rights across the tournaments while the deal features both on-course and off-course branding, including tee boxes and markers, greenside boards, par and yardage boards, as well as caddy bibs and branding at other European Tour events.
This latest deal adds to Cazoo’s portfolio in sport, which now includes football (Everton, Aston Villa and the EFL), cricket (The Hundred), rugby (Welsh Rugby Union & 2021 Rugby League World Cup), horse racing (Epsom Derby) and snooker (World Snooker Tour).
