Participants will take a half-mile walk around the park visitor center grounds to discover the pollinators that make the park’s beautiful blooms possible. Black Bears of Minnesota Campfire program, 8-8:30 p.m., Jay Cooke State Park. Reliable Insurance Agency is hosting the event to raise money for the Best Christmas Ever program. Carlton County Garden Tour, 4-7 p.m. Join the master gardeners for a free, self-guided tour of five gardens in the Barnum/Moose Lake/Kettle River area. The tour is open to the public. Maps will be available after Thursday, July 1, at the Carlton County Extension Office, 317 Chestnut Ave., Carlton; the Carlton County Master Gardener Facebook page, the Carlton County Extension website; and at each garden on the day of the tour. The gardens include the following: 3779 Main St., Barnum; 3801 S. Lake Road, Moose Lake; Moose Lake Community Garden, 4812 County Road 10, Moose Lake; 3030 Hwy 73, Kettle River; and 3929 Birch St, Kettle River.
