Hyatt Asia Pacific Resorts “Stay Longer” Third Night Free Flash Sale, Book By July 28, 2022

Hyatt has just opened a new THIRD NIGHT FREE sales campaign called “Stay Longer” for resorts in the Asia Pacific region with 19 participating properties that customers can book through March 31, 2023.

The booking under this promotion has to be completed by July 28, 2022 and the way this works is that the third night will indeed be displayed as a zero daily rate.

Hyatt previously had a bunch of sales (especially in Thailand) where the rates weren’t really much cheaper as just in time for the sale, hotels racked up their base prices, basically running at exactly the same rates as prior to the start of the sale. This doesn’t seem to happen this time around.

You can access this promotion on Hyatt’s website (see here).

A romantic escape for two. A fun-filled family holiday. A tranquil retreat to recharge the body and mind. An unforgettable diving adventure. Plan your dream getaway and indulge yourself for longer on us.

Choose from tropical destinations such as Bali and Koh Samui to idyllic islands in the Maldives and Okinawa. From beach paradises to stylish stays surrounded by spectacular scenery, new horizons await your discovery.

Stay longer and save more. Enjoy a third night free for every two consecutive qualifying nights at participating Hyatt hotels and resorts in Asia-Pacific. Use Offer Code RESORT at time of booking by July 28, 2022 for stays from July 18, 2022 to March 31, 2023.  Terms and conditions apply.

When you search the participating resorts the rate showed automatically in the list of available booking options even without entering the RESORT code.

This promotion can also be combined with Hyatt’s current APAC offer to collect 1,000 points per two qualifying nights credited to the World of Hyatt account:

Asia-Pacific Offer — Earn up to 15,000 Bonus Points

World of Hyatt members can earn 1,000 Bonus Points for every two qualifying nights at participating Hyatt hotels and resorts in Asia-Pacific. Register by July 31, 2022 to earn up to 15,000 Bonus Points for qualifying stays completed by September 2, 2022. Terms apply. Click here to learn more.

What I really don’t like about Hyatt’s approach to these third night free promotions is that World of Hyatt® points and night credits will not be awarded for the free night. In my opinion, this is total rubbish. Not that I need any more nights this year, but many do. So why not finally fix this?

These are the participating resorts:

I have checked the pricing for the Hyatt Regency Hua Hin next week and the pricing with third night free is actually a decent amount of savings:

Alternatively, you can book a standard room for 9000 points for night which is a decent rate as well. In this case, I think 3200 Baht plus tax is roughly US$100 so it’s better to pay rather than use 9k points.

Conclusion

This third night free Resort Flash Sale promotion has to be booked by July 28, 2022 for all stays between July 18, 2022 to March 31, 2023.

You have to check each resort to see if the pricing makes sense and if there are better options such as a points redemption as an alternative. Otherwise the promo works out pretty well.
