Work underway at long-vacant Eatonville visitor information centre

EATONVILLE, N.S. — The long-vacant visitor information centre in Eatonville acquired by the Cliffs of Fundy Geopark is about to get a new lease on life as renovations and repairs get underway.

Funding for Phase 1 of repairs is being provided by the Government of Canada’s Healthy Communities Initiative. In a May 2 release, the geopark said the first phase of the renovation project for the newly acquired building will see new wood siding installed. Other repairs such as replacement doors and repairs to floor joists are also in the works.
