SMTD bus transfer center in Springfield IL is moving Monday

Sangamon Mass Transit District’s bus transfer center will return to 11th Street between Washington and Adams streets beginning Monday.
SMTD buses will run regular routes on Monday, which is Presidents Day.
The transfer center had been operating at a temporary location just north of the site since August.
SMTD managing director Steve Schoeffel said three of the four bus lanes are complete, as is much of the concrete surface work.
