The Expedia Travel Week Sale Has Hotel Stays at Up to 60 Percent Off

Our fingers have been itching to press “book now” on a hotel or flight deal for over a year now—and it looks like Expedia is giving us that dopamine hit of future travel plans in the form of a week-long sale. Expedia’s Travel Week sale launched June 8 and runs through June 12, offering up to 60 percent off select hotel stays. It covers all stays booked between now and January 31, 2022, too. We’re talking discounts on Readers’ Choice Award–winning hotels, like L.A.’s Hotel Figueroa, Denver’s The Maven Hotel at the Dairy Block, or New York City’s William Vale, where every room has a balcony, most with views of the Manhattan skyline. There are tons of Mexican and Caribbean resorts included in the sale too, like reader-favorite Half Moon in Montego Bay, Jamaica, which features one of the largest spas on the island. 

There are a few ways to cash in on the deals. First, you can just search the hotels you love and destinations you’re eyeing on Expedia, along with the exact dates you’re planning to travel, and the site will surface on-sale stays with a yellow “Expedia Travel Week” banner that shows both the usual and discounted nightly price for your stay. There’s also a microsite for the sale that showcases a long list of included hotels and shares just how much you can save, from up to 60 percent off stays at the all-inclusive, family friendly Azul Beach Resort Riviera Cancun to 20 percent off rooms at the new Virgin Hotels Las Vegas, which a Condé Nast Traveler writer described as a Vegas hotel for a new generation.

Finally, you can take advantage of Expedia Travel Week’s Daily Getaways deals, shared in partnership with travel influencers like Oneika Raymond and Hannah Burcaw. Each day, the influencers will share an exclusive 20 percent off code for travelers to use at some of their favorite hotels. For example, Raymond’s deal, which goes live for 24 hours on Thursday, June 10, offers 20 percent off rooms at the Dream Nashville and the ultra-stylish, Hot List–winning PUBLIC Hotel in New York City. 

But the deals here aren’t limited to hotels: Car rentals are up to 20 percent off when booked through Expedia, and the site is offering complimentary on-board credits, upgrades, and discounts on cruise itineraries from AMA Waterways and Norwegian for sailings through 2023.
