The latest hotel added to Messi’s chain

Lionel Messi’s hotel chain, MIM Hotels, have recruited another property to their portfolio, as the Argentine star continues to invest in the project that has been managed by Majestic Hotel Group since 2017.

This site is the sixth to join the collection, this time located in the Puerto Deportivo de Sotogrande, in Cadiz on the south coast of Spain.

It continues the chain’s focus on tourists in the luxury sector, again representing a location for golf, polo and watersport lovers.

Messi’s environmental commitment

All of the hotels in the group have made promises on being sustainable, either having obtained or being in the process of getting LEED recognition from the US Green Building Council for being sustainable buildings.

Pascua Ortega’s mark

This hotel will open in April 2022 with interior design from Pascua Ortega, who renewed the site while retaining its unique charm.

It will host 45 spacious rooms with modern designs which are complemented by impressive views of the port in Sotogrande, often hosting luxury yachts in the Mediterranean Sea.

The hotel also has two restaurants with outdoor dining space and a spa.

Sixth addition

This joins Hotel MIM Sitges, Hotel MIM Ibiza, Hotel MIM Mallorca, Hotel MIM Baqueira and Hotel MIM Andorra in Messi’s group.
